Best Practices in Healthcare Construction Design - October 14-15, 2010

Best Practices in Healthcare Construction Design - October 14-15, 2010

American Institute of Architects Boardroom
1735 New York Avenue, NW
Washington, DC 20006

As healthcare providers strive to protect patient health and safety, for the
successful execution of a project, effective planning is essential. Those
involved with the design and execution of the infrastructure in question
must consider the many factors which could impact the job, the successful
scheduling, budgeting, site safety, availability of materials, logistics,
inconvenience to the public caused by construction delays, preparing tender
documents, etc.

Please Register Early - Due to Space Restrictions, we are limiting the
amount of attendees to this event - www.mindstreamedu.com/registration.

GreenExpo365.com Now an Approved Education Provider for AIA's Continuing Education System

GreenExpo365.com Now an Approved Education Provider for American Institute of Architects' Continuing Education System
Seattle, Wash., June 15, 2010 — GreenExpo365.com, an online resource center and virtual hub for the green building and design community, is now an approved education provider for the American Institute of Architects' (AIA) Continuing Education System (CES). This makes it easier for design professionals to earn AIA credits on sustainable practice in one easy-to-access location. www.greenexpo365.com

Interested participants can visit the GreenExpo365.com Launch Pad to view a course catalog of on-demand, AIA-registered presentations from green insiders such as best-selling author and architect Sarah Susanka, architect Peter Pfeiffer, the NAHB Research Center, and other industry experts. The site also includes a schedule of upcoming "live" AIA-registered presentations that users can listen to and participate in at the GreenExpo365.com virtual auditorium. The live events include a question and answer time for additional clarification and insight into industry specific topics.

"This is a unique opportunity for the green building and design community," says GreenExpo365.com's Scott Donnelly. "With the combination of live and on-demand learning, architects have a one-stop resource that is available to them at any time."

Accredited AIA members must complete a total of 18 Continuing Education Units (CEU) per year to maintain their accreditation, four of which must be Health, Safety, and Welfare/ Sustainable Design (SD). With GreenExpo365.com's focus on sustainability, users now have increased access to courses that allow them to fulfill their HSW/SD requirements.

On-demand course participants must receive a test score of 80 percent or higher to qualify for AIA CES credit. GreenExpo365.com will provide participants who receive a passing score with a certificate of completion and will submit their results directly to the AIA for credit. Live course participants will be directed to register for a certificate of completion at the close of each session.

Participation in GreenExpo365.com AIA CEU on-demand and live courses is free upon registration.

Developer of the GreenExpo365.com online tradeshow and forum, i365Tech provides architects and residential and commercial contractors with the latest information and resources on green building products and practices, along with Web-based workshops and discussion forums. www.greenexpo365.com
