Cal EMA Safety Assessment Program Training

Cal EMA Safety Assessment Program Training

Saturday, October 8, 2011

The City of Oceanside has made a commitment to be pro-active regarding the protection of it’s residents and visitors in the time of natural disaster. They surveyed the list of certified safety assessment program volunteers and determined a need for more certified professionals within close driving distance to Oceanside. To that end, they sponsored a training program last March for interested professionals and successfully trained and certified about 30 local architects and engineers. They are providing this same training program again in October, and the Palomar Chapter in support of this endeavor is offering 6.5 AIA Continuing Education Credits in addition to the certification.

Schedule:
Registration | 8:00 am
Program | 8:30 am – 4:00pm
1-Hour Lunch Break

We members of the Palomar chapter have been focused on learning from natural disasters and giving back to the community this year so this program allows you to put all that knowledge to use in a meaningful way.
If you are interested in giving back to your community by using your talents in a time of crisis please contac:
